Hello, I suffer from the green tint screen problem. It all started when I was watching a movie then suddenly the screen of my laptop turned green, it turned to simple and turned one more time into green, I don't know what should I do, and I really need this laptop these days, I tried so many ways to fix it but nothing worked, also the Brightness button doesn't work anymore, and sometimes it appears some vertical lines on the screen, the laptop is still working like before, the problem is just from the screen, if anyone knows how to fix it please help.

    ImageHello,

I'm really so thankful that I got a response, as you said I tried connecting my laptop with another device, and it seems like the problem is from the screen because once I connected my laptop with my tv, the screen looked normal on the tv (has so green tint), and I followed your steps for updating graphic drivers but as you can see when I click on properties, it don't show any other options, now I'm restarting the laptop and I'll try again.

    Thank you one more time.

    Dear MoonCH,

Thank you so much for your reply!

If I understand correctly when you connect your laptop to the TV, the display appears normal on the TV but not on your laptop screen, is that correct? If so, it suggests that there may be a hardware issue. It would be advisable to take your laptop to a computer shop to have it checked or to potentially replace the screen.

    Warm Regards,

    Arif

Greetings! My name is Arif, and I will assist you today.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. Have you tried connecting an external monitor to see if the same display problem appears on the external monitor? Based on the screenshot you shared, it seems more likely to be a hardware issue rather than a software issue. It’s better to check with the external monitor first to see if you are facing the same problem.

Additionally, have you tried updating or reinstalling the graphics drivers and then restarting your PC?

    To do this:

    • Open Device Manager
    • Expand the Display Adapters section
    • Right-click your graphics card, choose Properties, and go to the Driver tab
    • Click “Roll Back Driver,” then restart your PC.

    Warm Regards,

    Arif
