    Hello, this is Emily.

Yes you can. First, make sure you go to Settings > System > Multitasking, and have Snap Windows toggle turned on.

Once on, you can use Windows Key + Up key to move your current active Windows to upper half, then when you release the keys, it will ask you to choose a window to go to the bottom half. Vice versa, you can also do Windows + Down key to occupy the bottom half first. Similiarily, you can use Windows + left and Windows + right to do the left and right halves.

I hope that's what you were looking for.

Haven't found any quick key shortcut to work unfortunately.

    Hello everyone,

to snap a window to the bottom half of the screen press Windows-Key + Alt + Arrow Down. In fact the combination with Alt is possible with all four arrow keys. It snaps the window directly to the next whole vertical or horizontal section, which is very useful.

    Hope it helps.

    Best regards

    Solaiman

Thanks for that tip, Emily! I'm using Windows 11 and the steps to do Windows + Up then click the window to go down worked for me. However, pressing Windows + Down minimized the window, it did not snap it to the bottom. I do wish there were a slightly user GUI or keyboard shortcut to make that happen.

NOPE. Does not work the way you said for snap bottom half. Windows+ Down does minimise current window. Also when i snap the first window to Top nothing ask me what window i want to be snapped bottom.. To snap top, easy. To snap bottom i did not figured out. Also patterns should be editable.

I tried this with Windows 10 Home and it didn't work for me. What are the correct instructions for this version of Windows?
