My laptop is stuck in tablet mode in windows 11

I have tried all the methods(regedit value to 0, sfc /scannow shows no problem, and have had my pc reset multiple times and obviously changing the display orientation and stuffs like that) and nothing works

I think it started after I did a clean windows install, but I have already updated all the drivers available in Lenovo centre( can it be due to wrong drivers or something and if yes, I can't figure out which one)

    Go to Settings > Personalization.

In the right pane, click on Taskbar.

Under Taskbar, make sure Optimize taskbar for touch interactions when this device is used as a tablet is turned Off or unchecked.

Hello , sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

Here are some suggested solutions that might help you.

    1. Check Rotation Lock. To do this, launch the Settings app by pressing Windows key + i or click the Windows logo then click settings.

Click on Display in the System tab that opens by default.

Now, scroll down and disable the toggle for Rotation lock. If the toggle is turned off, try to turn it on and try to rotate the screen until Tablet mode could be disabled.

    1. The issue may be related to the accelerometer or gyroscope sensors that detect the laptop's orientation. Try updating or reinstalling these drivers:

    -Open Device Manager

-Look for "Sensors" or "Human Interface Devices" categories

-Find entries like "HID Sensor Collection" or "MEMSIC Accelerometer"

-Right-click and select "Update driver" or "Uninstall device" (then reboot to reinstall)

    1. Or you can check BIOS settings. Some Lenovo laptops have BIOS settings that affect tablet mode behavior:

-Restart your laptop and enter BIOS (usually by pressing F1 or F2 during startup)

-Look for options like "Tablet Mode" or "Yoga Mode" and ensure they're set correctly

-Press F10 to save and Exit.

    1. If available on your Windows 11 edition, try disabling tablet mode through Group Policy:

-Press Win + R, type "gpedit.msc" and press Enter

-Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Tablet PC

-Find "Turn off tablet mode" and set it to "Enabled"

    -Restart your computer
