    Hello, William Kalina

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Thank you for your feedback. Can you send me a screenshot of the error you are experiencing? This will help me understand your problem.

secpol.msc is a command for the Local Security Policy Editor in Windows operating systems. This tool allows the system administrator to edit and manage the security settings of the local computer. With this editor, you can configure various security-related settings including account policies, local policies, user permission assignments, security options, and more.

To open the Local Security Policy Editor, you can use the following method:

    Run dialog box:

Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.

Type secpol.msc and press Enter or click OK.

    Command Prompt or PowerShell:

Open the Command Prompt or PowerShell.

    Type secpol.msc and press Enter.

    Start Menu Search:

Type secpol.msc in the Start Menu search bar.

Click on "Local Security Policy Editor" in the search results.

    Administrative Tools:

    Open the Control Panel.

Navigate to "System and Security" and click on "Administrative Tools".

In the Administrative Tools window, locate and double-click Local Security Policy.

Please note that secpol.msc is a powerful administrative tool and improper configuration may affect the security of your system or prevent certain features from working properly. Therefore, before editing any settings, make sure you understand the consequences of your changes and have the appropriate administrative privileges.

I look forward to your feedback, which will help me pinpoint your problem.

    Best Regards,

    Aaron| Microsoft Community Support Specialist
