I'm using a PC that runs windows 11. I logged in on another PC and I can play online but it still doesn't work on my own computer. I have uninstalled the game and launcher and even tried downloading it from minecraft.net. Nothing has worked. Logging in and out doesn't work either. Neither computer had a VPN or firewall.
Can't play Minecraft multiplayer???
When trying to play online on Minecraft, the button is greyed out and says "You can not play multiplayer because of how your account is set up." I went through the privacy settings and it is set to allow multiplayer and cross platform. ALL of the settings are set to allow but I STILL can't play! The account's age is set to over 18. Someone please help!!!

2024-07-03T00:03:55+00:00 Hi,
Try to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter and see if it resolves the issue. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters > Select Windows Store apps from the list and run the troubleshooter. Then, try to launch Minecraft Launcher as administrator. Also, please make sure that Minecraft is up-to-date. Open Microsoft Store > click Library > click Get Updates.
You could also try repairing the application. Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Look for Minecraft and click Advanced Options > click Repair. If the repair doesn't help, try resetting the app. Follow the same steps, click Reset under Advanced options. Restart your computer then try opening the game again.
If the problem persists, try to reset the Microsoft Store cache then reinstall Minecraft again. To reset Microsoft store, press Windows logo key + R to open the Run command window. Type wsreset.exe and click OK. Simply wait for the process to complete then reinstall the game again to check whether the issue is fixed. Let me know how it goes. Thanks.
Regards.

2024-07-02T00:36:43+00:00 Hello! I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. May I ask whether you're playing Minecraft on a PC or a game console? If it’s Xbox, Switch or PlayStation, please ensure you have an active online subscription to play the game. If you're on PC, make sure the Multiplayer Game option is enabled in the Multiplayer tab within the world’s settings. You can also consider restarting your device to see if that resolves the issue. If you’re using a VPN, try disabling it as well, and if you have a firewall enabled, allow Minecraft through it. Let me know if this solution works for you. If not, please feel free to reply, and I'll be happy to provide further assistance. Thank you.
Best Regards!
Jen :)
