Windows Add/Remove will NOT allow me to Uninstall McAffee. The screen that pops up shows up like the below image. You can't scroll in it... or hit an "uninstall" button. When you click on it it bring you to their site.

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Install and upgrade

Okay, if you cannot boot to safe mode, go back to normal mode, and then go back to the Control Panel, Uninstall a Program, right click the McAfee then uninstall,

Once you get the half screen again for McAfee, tap on the TAB key on your keyboard once, that will highlight the Uninstall button then press Enter.

First of all... I have ZERO desire to ever go back on that site. And there should be ZERO reason I have to. Second, the program was NEVER installed. I downloaded Adobe PDF and somehow this MSSP was attached. It's the McAfee Security Scan Plus that allows me to Hit Unistall in the normal windows program BUT when the box pops up TO UNISTALL it looks like the photo I attached to this post. That box is linked to the McAfee site. SOOOO there is something else on my computer that needs to be deleted????

    SPARKY HERE.

PROGRAMS AND FEATURES WILL NOT UNINSTALL IT.

I DID THE REMOVAL TOOL AND IT DID NOT WORK. SO, I DID IT OLDSCHOOL STYLE.

I WENT TO SERVICES AND DISABLED MCAFEE, THEN I WENT TO REGEDIT AND DELETED

MCAFEE, THEN TO TASK MANAGER AND STOPPED ALL MCAFEE PROCESSES, THEN TO

THE MCAFEE FILE FOLDER AND DELETED ALL EXE FILES FIRST, THEN ALL THE REST AT ONCE.

THEN IT IS TIME FOR A RESTART. ALL IS FINE. OLDSCHOOL WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS. I DID THIS IN ALL CAPS FOR EASY QUICK READING... sudo apt−get autoremove sudo apt−get clean.
