Cannot connect to Wi-Fi after latest Windows update.

July 9th, my computer was working fine. I had just been on my class discussion board and was logging off getting ready to go to work. It came up with a Windows update. And I clicked restart. I waited for the computer to come back up. I shut it down and went to work.

Came back from work the next morning went to log on and while it was showing that I was connected to my Wi-Fi. Any site that I went to try to go on was telling me I was not connected to the network.

I have tried rolling back the update. But my Wi-Fi connection is still gone. It still shows up that I'm connected. It shows that my device driver is working it says that my network card is working. But I am still not getting to the websites.

I took it up to Best buy to see if they could help me out. They tried with an ethernet connection which worked one time. I would appreciate some kind of help please. I have four weeks left of class before I get my degree and I would really like to be able to finish my class. Thank you very much. Okay so

    Dear sir,

I just want to say thank you, thank you, and thank you. The fourth solution that you outlined for me worked. I was able to get back on the internet. And with the help of another username Jenny I was also able to get on my one drives account again. Thank you so much for being there and thank you so much for helping.

I couldnt agree more Sam!! It took MONTHS of searching for FIXES and trying to troubleshoot although MSoft stopped offering that option on Win 11 and HELP in Windows went NOWHERE! BUT.........FINALLY I am up and running again when I got HElP by being entered into a CHAT on MS 365 "OneCustomer/ Chat Support. It took an hour of chat, but eventually the TECH guy realized that I should have downloaded a WIFI Driver and what I think he was saying was that the Update that Windows installed was not compatible with my DELL installed Driver. He didnt explain fully, I think because they do not want to admit fault, they just want to find a FIX. BING he downloaded and installed, I restarted Dell and I was up and running again. That was 3 days ago and so far so good. I just want to reiterate that I was NOT having any issues with my Dell 7573 before the update in OCTOBER that started the internet "NO connect"

I hope you ALL (MANY, MANY customers) get the FIX you need and that my experience helped.

    Best Wishes

    FDT
