If I turn my volume off on my computer, can other people on Teams tell?

If I turn my volume off on my computer during a Teams meeting, can others in the meeting tell? This involves a work computer and a work Teams account.

Asking because there is now an issue at work. I turned down the volume on my computer because I was trying to work and found the meeting distracting.

    No, they cannot. But they can ask you a question you will not be able to hear :)
