I think you will have to use the KMS keys for Windows Enterprise, and they will automatically activate. Kindly check both of them and let me know.

The key for E5 might be there in AD too, I am not so sure.

Hello DaminiNUU, I'm Quinn, and I'm happy to help you.

Since you have a Microsoft 365 E5 license, your device should automatically upgrade to Windows 11 Enterprise. Please follow these steps to ensure the upgrade process is working correctly:

    1. In Settings, make sure your device is joined to Azure Active Directory.
    2. Sign in to Windows with the Microsoft 365 account that has the E5 license.
    3. In 'Settings', > 'System' > check 'Activation' to see if the upgrade is in progress.
    4. Go to 'Settings' > 'System' > About to ensure your Windows edition is listed as Windows 11 Enterprise.
    5. If necessary, force a license update using Command Prompt (administrator) and run "slmgr /ato".

You may look to this documentation from Microsoft for additional information.: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deplo...

Feel free to reply if you need further assistance.

    Hello DaminiNUU,

Ensure that your Microsoft 365 E5 license is properly assigned to your account. You can check this by the Microsoft 365 Admin Center:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/b...

Log in first to your account, and under Users > Active users. Kindly confirm that your account is listed and has the E5 license assigned.

After that, I recommend you use the Activation Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > System > Activation and click on Troubleshoot. This can help identify and resolve any activation issues.

If the issue persists, try this temporary workaround. Temporarily enter a generic Windows 11 Enterprise key to prompt the system to upgrade. Go to Settings > System > Activation > Change product key.

Enter the generic key for Win 11 Enterprise: XGVPP-NMH47-7TTHJ-W3FW7-8HV2C

This may trigger the upgrade process, but you'll still need a valid product key to fully activate Windows 11 Enterprise later.

Let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance with this.

Hi, actually the device is not automatically upgraded and I ran the command and checked my device is AzureAD joined but these step is failing "Sign in to Windows with the Microsoft 365 account that has the E5 license." as Microsoft is not accepting my work account.
