Unfortunately, Minecraft does not have HDR support, the only way to use HDR on Minecraft is by using the windowed mode.
My HDR is turned on why does it shut off when I fullscreen a game?
Whenever I fullscreen a video game, my HDR seems to turn off. I can tell because the colors became more saturated and vibrant all of sudden and it hurts my eyes. I notice that the "HDR" small icon appears for a few seconds on the top right of my monitor when I minimize the game or exit fullscreen, and HDR is back on. It's like HDR is turning off when the game is fullscreen. Could you help me figure out why this is happening?

I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.
When you open a fullscreen game, the game takes control of the display so you have to enable HDR in-game. Try running the game in borderless fullscreen mode.
Some games have some trouble with HDR and disable it automatically. Does it happen with a single game or many games? Please send some examples.

2024-08-19T03:59:12+00:00 the game (Minecraft) unfortunately does not have a borderless Fullscreen mode, and there is no option to enable it in game. Is there no other way?
