Should I restart my pc and not touch anything? If I open any program after restart (browser in this case) the disk spikes to 100 and drops back all the time with only my browser and antivirus opened, and some system processes running (as i was writing this, it calmed down to normal & of 0-1 with registry and system taking the most % during small spikes). Plus opening task manager also puts pressure on the disk, taking longer to even let me start it.
And the link you provided redirects me to bing search page
100% disk usage windows 11
Honestly, don’t know where else to go with this issue. Seller ignores me about disk problem and every single solution online does nothing (please dont say to go to registry or anything it does nothing, chckdsk finds nothing)
So the problem is any installation on pc causes the main disk, on which the windows 11 is installed, to spike to 100% and it continues to spike if I use heavy editing programs or just gaming. It’s frustrating because it makes PC freeze so often if I need to install or update. Windows updates are another nightmare because of it, rendering my pc useless for hours during it. Pc sees no problem with my ssd (in DM its called SPCC ssd with provider being microsoft and driver date 21/06/2006).
What can cause this issue? Outdated driver? Where do I find the latest version? Could it be something to do with chipsets of my MB? Could it be the ssd itself can’t handle windows 11?

2024-08-28T11:31:15+00:00 Hi Sumit, here is a screenshot of disk usage. Because I installed a second disk myself in hope it will help lower the load on faulty disk the % it shows isn't accurate, so I attached second screenshot to show what happens during any download. It isn't unique for steam, some programs won't even install on faulty disk, causing PC to freeze at 99% of installation

2024-08-28T10:39:25+00:00 Hi,
I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.
I can understand your frustration when the things do not work correctly. A modern Windows 11 PC should not freeze and the drive should not go 100 percent for sure.
The driver date is normal, which is explained here:
https://devblogs.microsoft.com/oldnewthing/2017...
Even HDDs can handle windows 11, it is not a question of support. Something is wrong. Before we reach a troubleshooting step, let us dive deeper.
When the disk is at 100 Percent, what are the top 5 processes taking the disk resource as reported in the task manager?
Right-click Taskbar and select Task Manager.
Go to the Processes tab.
Click the Disk column.
You can also take a screenshot and post in the next reply.
I am looking forward to your response and am committed to working with you until we resolve this.
