If I didn't how could I get one?

As I didn't set up my computer I was wondering how would I find out if I had a Microphone?

If the computer is a laptop, and the laptop has a camera, then it also has a microphone.

If the computer is a desktop, and your monitor has a camera, then the monitor also has a microphone.

Otherwise, there is no microphone. There are other ways you can test. Here's one:

    Start > Settings> System > Sound > Input > Test your microphone

See if the blue bar rises and falls as you speak.

If you have a microphone and it's not working properly:

Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Speech

... how could I get one?

Any store that sells computes will have several from which you can choose. A mic is a plug-and-play device, so no worries about drivers.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

I will check that for you, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.
