I use a time tracking software for my remote job. This software also takes screenshots of my PC every 10 minutes.
Is there a way to stop the screenshots from being taken? My client has stated that they do not require the screenshots, but they are unable to switch to another tracking tool. I didn't find any setting inside the tracking software.
Are there any apps or ways that can pause the screenshot taking for privacy reasons?

Hi there, I'm John, a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand your concerns, and I'm here to provide information as a fellow Microsoft user. Unfortunately, there are no settings in Windows to prevent screenshots from being taken by your time tracking software, as this feature is purely controlled by the software itself.

I recommend exploring the software settings to see if there's a feature where you can adjust or disable the screenshot function. If the software doesn't offer this option and it’s not essential for your current job, you might consider uninstalling it.

But, if you have other remote jobs that rely on this software, it would be best to contact the software developer for further assistance.

If you're comfortable, please let me know the specific time tracking software you're using, and I can check it for you. Or let you know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    John J.D.
