This is so frustrating. I went into safe mode and then “I forgot my PIN” went away completely. i was left with no option to reset my pin
I forgot my PIN and the option to reset it doesn’t work

I can’t remember my pin and every time i click “I forgot my PIN” it starts loading and says “just a moment” before returning me back to the sign on screen without letting me reset. there’s no other option to sign in at.

My apologies about that. Please try resetting thru Safe Mode.
o At the login screen, hold down the Shift key while selecting Restart from the Power menu.
o Your PC will restart and present the Choose an option screen.
o Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
o After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Press 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode.
o Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
o Navigate to Accounts > Sign-in options.
o Under PIN (Windows Hello), select I forgot my PIN.
o Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your account and create a new PIN.

Hit "sign in" (without code):
"TO CONTINUE, ENTER THE CODE WE SENT YOU"
NO CODE WAS RECEIVED AT MY HOTMAIL INBOX "FOCUSED", OR AT "OTHER", JUNK MAIL, ETC.!!!
WAITED OVER 30 MINUTES... NIX, NADA, NYET !!!
Closed box, re- attempted via "I forgot my pin"
