My laptop's hinge is broken. How can I fix it? Is there a recommended solution or guide for repairing a broken hinge on a laptop? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Now my screen turned into black screen.

It’s best not to force the lid closed, as this could lead to more damage. Instead, try to gently adjust the lid while assessing the hinge to see if there’s any movement that allows it to close more naturally.

If the hinge is still partially connected, you might be able to stabilize the lid temporarily with a soft cloth or some tape to prevent it from moving too much while you prepare for repairs.

If that doesn't work, place it in a position where the lid is supported, and secure it gently with a soft cloth or padding to prevent it from moving. Reach out to a professional repair service or your laptop’s manufacturer as soon as possible.

I'm afraid this is not a windows problem.

You will need to look at a hardware repair which will depend on the manufacturer of the laptop. Different makes have different fixings.

Try searching the internet for possible solutions via YouTube videos to see what options you have. he first thing is how to take apart the laptop.

Thank you Nals for the suggestion. However, My laptop's lid isn't closing at all. How should I proceed with getting it repaired? Is there a way to close the lid safely without causing further damage? I'm worried that if I force it, I might break something. Any advice would be helpful.
