Logitech SetPoint6.30 won't install on my Windows 11 device

I have a new mouse that I bought online (It's from 2012), and it said for Windows to install Logitech Setpoint6.30. I went online and found that version on some random website and installed it. I tried to set it up as an admin, but it just wouldn't work. Is this due to the software needed for the mouse is too old for my version?

I was getting the same error and have managed to successfully install, launch, and configure my mouse after selecting the x64 type of the latest version of the software.

This is the most recent version at time of writing, in the Software Type dropdown where it says "smartinstaller", change this to "64bit".

Hello ! I'm Aymeric, an independent advisor, and I'm here to help !

You can get the latest version of Logitech Setpoint here : https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410...

This is the official installer for the latest version of the driver (6.70.55). It should be compatible with your mouse : usually, incremental software releases do not usually remove compatibility with certain peripheral models.

As mentioned by Logitech in the compatibility details, the software should be compatible with Windows 11.

Download and install it, and please let me know if you encounter any issues.

Looking forward to your answer !

    Hello
I got "Side-by-side configuration" issues with an older mouse too.
The discussion thread below's solution worked for me :
Getting a side-by-side error when trying to open SetPoint for Logitech - Microsoft Community

Best of luck on your issues.
