Running into that error message when I try launching some games.

I've reinstalled the drivers for my graphics card
Reinstalled my directX
Reinstalled my games
Run file integrity checks on the games

Anything else?

    Hello Parth, I'm Quinn, and I'm happy to help you.

    To resolve this issue, open "Command Prompt", run as an administrator, and type:

    sfc /scannow

    Once the scan is finished, close the Command Prompt window. Restart your computer to apply the changes. Check if the issue persists, if so, feel free to reply if you need further assistance.

    Nothing changed, still getting the same error message. If it helps I'm only getting this error message on some games; Valorant and EA FC 24. On valorant I'm getting this error message;

    Whereas when I attempt to launch EA FC 24 I'm getting this;

    Some other games are working fine; F1 23, Hitman World of assassination, Spider-Man Miles Morales. Launching and running well with no complaints.

    In an elevated Command prompt, type

    regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\dsound.dll

    If it doesn't solve,

    Please try a repair install as the next step. It keeps everything, including apps and files, and reinstalls Windows. Repair Install Windows 11 using an ISO file https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2021/08/repair-install-windows-11-using-an-iso-file.html

    1. Download Windows 11 ISO file from the following link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/Windows11
    2. Under Download ISO file, select Windows 11.
    3. Click Download and choose the Language in which Windows is installed.
    4. Click 64-bit Download to start the download.
    5. When downloaded, open the ISO file, and run Setup.exe to start the upgrade.
