I did the file cmd trick (system file checker with the DISM scan and then "scan now" and it said it fixed everything. I restarted my computer and nothing happened. Windows was updated and everything, drivers were updated, i reinstalled windows keyboard drivers and various others, etc. Nothing has worked or changed. Ive checked all my hardware and everything is connected and fine. Microsoft please help. If it helps to know, Armory Crate doesnt detect my keyboard either.

    Hi Dallas,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Please reboot the computer and boot into BIOS > Test the keyboard > If it does not work it is either somehow disabled in BIOS or it has a hardware issue.

If it works in BIOS, it means the keyboard has software-related issues.

Please keep me posted to provide you with troubleshooting steps.

No problem. I will be happy to provide you with more troubleshooting steps but I want to double-check as I haven't got the answer whether the keyboard works in BIOS or not.

    Thank you

I didn't mark it as unhelpful? I thought that was totally helpful it just didn't solve my main problem in which it couldn't. You didn't do anything wrong, it's not like you could reach out from the screen and fix it for me lol. But yes, further assistance on this problem would be much appreciated!

Thank you for reaching out to me. My keyboard did not work while in bios settings. External keyboards work fine, but its definitely a hardware issue. Is there any way you can assist me any further?
