fyi my skills in excel are limited. i will use laymans terms to describe what likely has other names.

i use excel to run a report with charts. it has four PAGES. top to bottom, four pages. I need to ADD a page in between existing pages. i CAN create a new page at the end of my report. i cannot find any to MOVE it to where it needs to be. this has nothing to do with TABS. currently this program, with my limited knowledge, is mostly useless for me. the effort to do this minor report equals at least 4 hours a week to input numbers and fix the broken tables/charts. there must be an easier way.

need to MOVE or CREATE a new PAGE in excel. pretty simple. any ideas?

What I meant was Excel wasn't originally set for printing pages but for using on screen.

Yes adding items (rows or columns) can mess up settings for page printing.

Perhaps it might be best to use a new Sheet rather than try to add to the existing sheet.

Excel doesn't really do pages as such only when you come to print something. If you select Print preview you can see how the screen will look if printed to your printer.

If you want to insert something between existing entries then left click a row number and keeping the mouse left key pressed move down a few rows. This will show a number of rows selected, right click and select Insert.

All the data entries already there will move down giving space to enter new items.

    Is that what you want?

well, i have clearly defined pages on the excel sheet, if i just add a row, which i am limited in doing due to the header and footer on the page, its messes up the formatting of my charts......i can do that and reformat everything i suppose was just hoping there was an easy way to add in a new page. i now have a chart on a separate page but the foot is massive and i cant add anything to it as it has no cells.if i try to drag the chart underneath it overlaps the one on the page, I've created a kind of dead zone.....weird program man....

i should add i did not originally set this report up,
