I purchased a used MS Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600. It is not the same size as the 4000. It is smaller, noisier, and not a smooth wheel (it clicks). It's basically the same as a cheap generic knock-off I had I was hoping to get one "identical" to the 4000 just Bluetooth. Makes me kind of sad. Oh well, I tried.
Replace/New MS Bluetooth mouse?
Hello,
I have an older Microsoft Mobile Mouse 4000 that I love (except for it chewing batteries). I’d like to try an MS Bluetooth mouse – however I am picky. I want one that is basically the same size, weight, click response, and very limited click noise (i.e., quiet/silent) as the 4000. Is there anything available that fits my needs (it could be something used if nothing new is available)?
This may be a bit OT here and if so where would you recommend I post this?
Thanks for viewing,
Steve K.

2024-08-13T01:12:21+00:00 Dear Steven,
The Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 measures 95.3 mm in width and weighs 63 grams.
If you currently have the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000, which is around 58.1 mm wide, you’ll find that the 3600 model is slightly wider. This could offer a bit more comfort in your hand.

For your concern, here are some options you might want to consider. However, I suggest doing a bit more research online—check out reviews, videos, and images for another mouse too. There are plenty out there that you might really like:
- Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600: This one is compact and lightweight, very similar in size to the Mobile Mouse 4000. It’s designed to be comfortable, with a nice, quiet click response.
- Logitech M590 Multi-Device Silent: Known for its quiet clicks and ergonomic design, this mouse connects via Bluetooth and is about the same size as the Mobile Mouse 4000.
- Logitech Pebble M350: If you’re looking for something sleek and compact, this mouse is a great choice. It’s lightweight, has silent clicks, and connects via Bluetooth.
- Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse: While it’s a bit larger, this mouse has a quiet click and offers a premium feel. It connects via Bluetooth and even has customizable buttons.
- HP Spectre Bluetooth Mouse 500: This lightweight mouse has a quiet click mechanism and offers Bluetooth connectivity with a comfortable design.

2024-08-12T15:26:36+00:00 Thank you Arif, I will check this out. I believe I may be interested in the MS BT Mobile Mouse 3600. I just want to know its size. I do not want something smaller than the 4000 I now have. If anyone could shed some light on that it would be most appreciated.
Thanks again,
Steve
