A clean boot is a good next step, as we've ruled out several potential causes.

How to perform a clean boot:

    1. Click the Start menu and open it.
    2. Go to the Services tab.
    3. Check the box next to "Hide all Microsoft services."
    4. Click "Disable all."
    5. Go to the Startup tab.
    6. Click "Open Task Manager."
    7. In Task Manager, disable all items in the Startup tab.
    8. Close Task Manager and click "OK" under System Configuration.
    9. Restart your computer.

If the blue screen does not appear during a clean boot, it indicates a conflict with a third-party service or startup program.

Okay, we can handle solving this problem from different fronts.

    1. Update drivers:
    • Open Device Manager (right-click on Start and select Device Manager).
    • Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers".
    • Right-click on each SATA AHCI controller and select "Update Driver".
    • Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software".
    • Do the same for graphics cards and chipset drivers.
    1. Check for hardware problems:
    • Use the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool (search for "Windows Memory Diagnostic" in the Start menu). This is one of the big generators of this problem, a faulty memory.
    1. Repair system files:
    • Open Command Prompt as administrator.
    • Run the following commands:
    • sfc /scannow
    • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
