hello, i bought this pc recently and it has windows 11, the problem is that I cannot use facial recognition, it said that it is not compatible, i was searching information about it and i realized that my pc camera (usb2.0 hd uvc webcam) doesn't have infrared capability, so i wonder if there is any thing i can do to have facial recognition or is it impossible to use it?

I would really appreciate if somebody replies me, thank you.

    Hi,

I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

Unfortunately, you must have a Windows Hello-compatible camera to use facial recognition. The only way to solve it is by installing a camera that supports it.

You'll need to buy a compatible camera. The camera's manufacturer will specify if their camera is compatible with Windows Hello.

As an alternative, you might consider a fingerprint sensor. This will be less expensive and less complicated.
