RZ616 wifi 6e 160mhz wifi not working in Gigabyte X670 ax Motherboard. PLEASE HELP!

I have a pc built with Gigabyte X670 ax (rev 1.0) motherboard. It came with this RZ616 wifi 6e 160mhz antenna. Things were fine 3 days ago until I updated my windows and AMD adrenaline drivers. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 7700x cpu.

Everything else works except there is no wifi option, even if the adapter name is visible in device manager's network adaptors.

Also, the wifi only works after, when the pc is shutdown for the entire night and switched on the next day. It will work for 30-45 mins and then disappear.

I have installed drivers from microsofty catalog but nothing.

ran the troubleshooter, network reset...nothing works.

Clean installed win 10 again. updated Bios, but nothing. Upgraded to WIn 11 before that from Win 10, didnt work...so clean installed win 10 again.

Also weird thing, pc stutters a bit when there is no wifi, or when it disappears suddenly

    Hello Animesh

I know im probably late, but I had the same issue. Apparently the wifi only seems to work on windows 11 for some reason.

    Hey Lucas!

Does that still work for you? Did it work for you? Did you take any other steps besides installing Lenovo drivers?
I'm in exactly the same situation right now :(

I gave it to service centre, dont think its resolved, but in the meantime i bought a wifi adapter, and disabled the inbuilt rz616. Its all working good now. But I will try to find a solution later

Check if the network stack is active in Bios. Search for Networkstack configuration and check if the stack is active (there must be something like ip4/ip6 enabled). If there is nothing under networkstack wifi is disabled, doubleklick and enable it.

    Then install this driver .

Works for me on x670e Aourus master

In your Bios, is it possible to enable or Disable Bluetooth?
