Hi,Deshawn. My name is Ivan, and I am an Independent Assessor. I'd be more than happy to assist you. I'm so sorry that you are experiencing this issue. Don't worry, I'll do everything I can to help you.
Unfortunately, there is no direct built-in method to completely disable the Alt+Tab feature in Windows 11. However, you can significantly reduce its interference with these methods:
Method 1: Using PowerToys (Recommended)
- Download and install PowerToys – it is a free, open-source utility from Microsoft that offers several productivity tools, including the Keyboard Manager.
- Open PowerToys – Once installed, launch the PowerToys app.
- Go to Keyboard Manager – click on the Keyboard Manager module.
- Remap Alt+Tab – Click on “Remap a shortcut.” Under “Physical shortcut,” select “Type” and press Alt+Tab. Under “Assigned to,” choose “Disable.”
Note: Disabling Alt+Tab completely may not be ideal, as it is a core functionality of Windows. Consider alternative methods such as using Task View (Win + Tab) or specific application shortcuts to switch between windows.
