I've done all the steps through what Bandai Namco have told me, and then they sent me here. I've reinstalled the games, my graphics drivers, I've run the SFC scan, repaired windows, all with the same problems. Mostly the games CTD but sometimes they force a full system restart, with no blue screen.

    Hi Cain Angael

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community

Knowing your problem you get an error while playing the game

The “c0000005” error, also known as an access conflict error, is a common problem that can cause a game or other application to crash. This error occurs when a program tries to access memory that it is not allowed to access. You can try the following

    1. Check for Windows updates

Make sure your operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update and check for updates.

2 Run the game as administrator

Right click on the game executable file or shortcut and select “Run as administrator”.

    3 Verify the game files

If you are using a platform such as Steam, Epic Games Store or Origin, use their built-in features to verify the integrity of the game files. This can repair corrupted or missing files.

    1. Disable overclocking

If you've overclocked your CPU, GPU, or memory, revert to the default clock speed. Overclocking may cause some games to become unstable.

    1. Check for software conflicts

Antivirus/Firewall: Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to see if they are causing problems.

Background applications: Close unnecessary background applications that may interfere with the game.

    1. Adjust in-game settings

Lower the in-game graphics settings. Sometimes high settings can cause instability, especially on older hardware.

7 Update DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributables

Make sure you have the latest versions of DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributables installed. you can download these from the official Microsoft website.

    8 Check for memory problems

RAM: Run a memory diagnostic tool such as Windows Memory Diagnostics or MemTest86 to check for faulty memory.

Virtual Memory: Increase the size of the virtual memory (paging file). Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Performance Settings > Advanced tab > Virtual Memory.

    1. Run the game in compatibility mode

Locate the game's installation directory and find the game's main executable (usually an .exe file).

Right-click on the game's main executable file and select Properties.

In the properties window that pops up, click on the “Compatibility” tab.

Check the “Run this program in compatibility mode” option.

Select an older version of Windows from the drop-down menu, such as Windows 7 or Windows XP (depending on when the game was released and your current operating system).

If necessary, you can check other options, such as “Run this program as administrator”.

You can also try other compatibility settings, such as “Disable full-screen optimization” or “Change high DPI settings” to solve specific problems.

    Click “Apply” and then “OK”.

Now double-click on the game's executable file to see if it runs properly.

    1. Reinstall the game

If all the above methods do not work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. This will solve the problem related to corrupt installation files.

Contact me if you need anything else.

    Best wishes
