Is there a way to save a pdf file to a flash drive and what are the steps to do so?

    Hi John,

    I'm Christine, I'll be happy to assist you. I can see here that you would like to save a PDF file to a flashdrive. Let me help you with that.

    First, please plug in your flashdruve to your computer.

    Please open the PDF file, click on File in the upper left part of the PDF viewer and choose Save As or Export.

    Browse for your flash drive and put your preferred File Name and hit Save.

    After that, you can Safely Eject your flashdrive from your computer, the file should be saved on it.

    What type of flash drive do you have and has it been formatted?

    How to format a flash drive - Search (bing.com)

    After formatting the drive, you should be able to drag and drop to the device or copy and paste.

    If you just want to save a PDF to the drive, then right click on it and select Show more options then select Send to and select your flash drive from the drop-down list. See example image below.

    Once I figured the drag and drop it easily was saved on the flash drive. Thank you for your help
