BIOS Loop after trying to update to windows 11

I have recently built a new pc. It was running fine but got choppy after going into sleep mode then waking up. So i was told updating windows could fix this issue, so when I tried to update to Windows 11 it said I didn't meet system requirements due to not having secure boot enabled. I went into BIOS realized that I couldn't change anything regarding S.B as it was greyed out. I tried flicking somethings around and disabled CSM. After doing so I have stuck in a BIOS loop that even though I enable CSM whenever it reboots it says CSM Disabled, along with no bootable devices found in my boot sequence. I can make changes within the CSM Support regarding UEFI and Legacy which save, however after the reboot CSM goes back to being disabled. I have updated my bios to my mobo's most recent update, which didnt fix it. I tried creating a windows media installation on a usb which is recognized in the boot sequence; however, I am still stuck in the BIOS loop. Previously when I first installed everything into the PC i experienced the similar bios loop, but I had enabled CSM Support and switched the UEFI stuff to Legacy and it booted up just fine. Not sure what my next step is as ive been trying various different things for hours and I need this fixed for school which starts in a few days. Any support is appreciated and I thank you in advance.

Gigabyte B760 DS3H AC DDR4 - (right now has a red light on mobo indicating an issue with the BOOT)

Intel I5-12600k

Gigabyte 3060ti

Adequate Power supply and no history of overheating with any signs of such.

I have a 1tb NVME.2 ssd - where I keep everything

250gb Sata 2.5" ssd - I believe this is where windows was originally stored as its the SSD that I used on my older computer, but have no way of telling.

2TB HDD - goes unused.

*additionally i have tried unplugging and reinserting all my SSD/HDD. Nothing seems to work that worked for me last time.

Please provide a photo of each of the tabs you have available in your BIOS.

Hello Dave, thank you for your support

When I “load default bios” on my system it gives no solution. The boot sequence/boot priority list which I believe is the equivalent to what you mentioned states “no bootable devices found” or the usb if it’s plugged in.

CSM Support is disabled and even when I enable it after save and exiting it returns to disabled. Regarding your suggestion I have no control over the secure boot, it is greyed out and doesn’t allow me to change anything. That has been something I’ve been trying to fix for a while and scoured all over the web to try to fix with no avail. It seems to return back to the fact that my CSM support stays disabled.

If you have and further suggestions please let me know.

    Thanks in advance,

    Blake

I have no way of disabling or enabling secure boot, i.e permanently or temporarily. The options are all greyed out and dont allow me to click on them, the only information I get says "System" with the option being user, althought it doesn't let me click on it, it is the only thing not greyed out in the secure boot side.

Looking through my bios I have not been able to find an option regarding boot mode, would it be labelled as another term possibly?

To boot from a USB created with the Media Creatin Tool, you need to disable Secure Boot permanently, then temporarily disable Secure Boot for the installation to ensure Windows is installed in UEFI Mode, not Legacy BIOS Mode.

In your BIOS can you find an option to switch from Legacy & UEFI to just UEFI boot mode only?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

Boot your PC into BOS, find the option to restore BIOS defaults and apply that.

Then check the Boot priority list, can you see the internal drive that Windows is installed on listed there or 'Windows Boot Manager'?

    2

You indicate you have created a bootable USB, if you go into BIOS, disable CSM Support and Secure Boot, is the USB then visible in the Boot Priority list and can you set the USB as the primary boot device?
