    caleb_2314,

It's good to know that your device is turned On. If you see 'PIN is unavailable error', you could try setting up a new PIN (Or repairing your existing Windows.

    1. Click 'Setup my PIN' to create a new PIN by verifying your Microsoft account credentials.

If you are unable to reset your PIN, re-install Windows by preserving your personal files.

    a. On the Windows sign-in screen, press and hold the Shift key while you select Power > Restart.

    b. Upon reboot, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Reset this PC > Keep my files > Local re-installation.

(This might take some time to reinstall Windows, make sure you don't turn off your computer)

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    caleb_2314,

Thank you for your reply. If you are still experiencing issues, the problem could be hardware-related.

Completely drain the battery and leave your device for some time. Then plug in the power adapter, and turn it ON again.

If you are still experiencing issues, the issue could be related to the hardware. Like we have to try reseating the Memory (Just remove and reinsert RAM) to make it work. If you still have a warranty you can contact the MSI technical support to reseat RAM or to check your hardware internally.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Hello caleb_2314,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

To access BIOS on your Msi GF65 laptop device,

    1. Power off your laptop.
    2. Press the power button to turn on the laptop.
    3. Immediately start pressing the "Delete" key on your keyboard repeatedly. This will open the BIOS setup utility.

Note: If pressing the "Delete" key doesn't work, try pressing the "F2" key instead.

    1. Once you're in the BIOS setup utility, you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate through the various settings.
    2. Make any necessary changes to the settings, then save and exit the BIOS.

If you having trouble booting the PC in Bios mode this way, you can create a Bootable installation media, and then boot the PC from from the USB drive. On the advanced options screen, select UEFI Firmware settings to boot the PC in the BIOS Utility screen.

If the screen still stays on the black screen and the LED indicator on your power icon indicates orange, drain the residual power on the laptop and check if it helps.

    1. Turn off your laptop.

(Disconnect the power adapter, battery if possible, and other external devices)

    1. Press and hold the power button for 15-30 seconds.
    2. Once finished, turn ON your laptop again. (See if the orange indicator turns white). If it still flashes orange, repeat the steps. Check if it helps.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
