Windows Update Broke my PC

I recently updated my HP laptop and after turning it back on, I could not access the start menu, settings, or any of the apps that came with the laptop. It also says that the BUILT-IN speakers, mic, and camera are nonexistent. I have had to reschedule job interviews because of this. I have tried resetting it and even taking it to Best Buy. Still, they said it was a corrupted update messing up my laptop just right to let me turn it on, get past the lock screen, and access the internet but everything else including the command panel does not come up. They referred me to here to try to get an answer.

Commenting/copy n paste to this forum to see of there'd be any update as something similar has occurred with my desktop.

Nothing has been able or will load via Chrome no matter what I clear and empty and restart. Run time is slower and NO, no updates other than the automatic ones have happened on my desktop I can't even load a simple app on my account without issue. And YES my internet connection is fine and connected to everything, it even registers on my desktop symbol and internet connection works.

I only managed to uninstall is a feature option but when I try the second option which is the feature it gives me thr same excuse of "We ran into a problem and won't be able to uninstall the latest feature update of Windows. Try resetting your PC instead (Troubleshoot > Reset this PC)

Someone fix this please!!! I use this for school!! Come on now this has been going on for months!!

Hi, good day! I'm Jerico T., I understand that you're having some issues right now, I'll do my best to help you with your concern.

Please try to restart (not shutdown) your computer 4 times, let it reach your desktop before the next restart and check if it will make a difference. If not, please perform the steps below.

    1. Turn on your computer and let it reach your sign-in screen.
    2. Press and hold the SHIFT key.
    3. Click the power icon on the lower part of your screen.
    4. Click Restart while pressing the SHIFT key.
    5. Your device should restart to Windows Recovery Environment.
    6. Select Troubleshoot then choose Advanced Options.
    7. From there, you can perform Startup Repair or uninstall the update that might have caused the issue.

Feel free to reach back if you need any further assistance.

Hope this help. Have a good day.

    Thank you,

    Jerico T.
