Hello,

Since I performed a factory reset on my PC, I have been unable to activate core isolation due to incompatible drivers. Here are the details of the drivers causing the issue:

  1. **jmccgp.sys** (JMicron)
    • Device: USB Composite Device
    • Import Date: 09/03/2024
    • Driver Date: 07/28/2009
    • Driver Version: 1.0.4.2
    • Published Name: oem18.inf
  2. **ssudbus.sys** (SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd.)
    • Import Date: 09/03/2024
    • Driver Date: 12/02/2015
    • Driver Version: 2.12.1.0
    • Published Name: oem86.inf
  3. **ssudbus.sys** (DEVGURU Co., LTD.)
    • Driver Version: 2.12.1.0
    • Product Name: SAMSUNG USB Composite Device Driver (MSS Ver.3)
  4. **jmccgp.sys** (JMicron Technology Corp.)
    • Driver Version: 1.0.4.2
    • Product Name: JMicron 31X Composite Device Lower Filter Driver

I am not sure what these drivers do, nor how to update, uninstall, or replace them properly. Could you please guide me on how to resolve these incompatibilities so I can enable core isolation on my system?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Best regards,

Célio Mantsouaka

Click your Start Button, then just type powershell and on the resulting menu, right click PowerShell and select 'Run as Administrator'.

Run this command in PowerShell and press Enter:

    pnputil /delete-driver oem18.inf /uninstall /force

Run this command in PowerShell and press Enter:

    pnputil /delete-driver oem86.inf /uninstall /force

When that command completes, close PowerShell, then restart (not shut down) your PC to apply that change.

Yes if it's possible ! Because I can't activate core isolation without that I think :)

HI, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

ssudbus.sys is a driver for some Samsung mobile device you may have previously connected to your PC

jmccgp.sys is a driver usually associated to some JMicron 31X USB device, do you have any USB hob connected to your PC.

If you no longer use those devices, do you want to delete those drivers?
