Recently when I try to download OneDrive files on my PC, I get a AVG popup that a threat has been detected. See below. My system is Windows 10. I've tried it on Edge, Chrome and Firefox -- same result. I updated AVG -- again, same result. How to fix? Thanks in advance

    Hi IWan2No,

AVG blocks OneDrive links for some users. It's a false positive which the AVG support team needs to address.

For more information on this issue and to report the false positive, please check this thread.

    Hi Ramesh,

Unfortunately I still haven't heard back from AVG and the detection is still occurring. I sent the false positive report again today.

In the meantime, can you assure me that this is a false negative and in fact confirmed to be a trusted link affiliated with OneDrive? I want to ensure before adding the url as an exception in AVG.

    Thanks

    Hi IWan2No,

Okay, let me know how it goes. In that thread, an AVG staff also posted a link on how to add websites to exceptions on that link. I hope the information is helpful.

Thank you Ramesh. I've reported the false positive to AVG. Will update once I hear back.
