How can I get my Microsoft 5000 wireless mouse to connect to my laptop which is running Windows 11. I've downloaded the Windows 10 driver but it didn't help

Hi. My name is Ivan, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'd be more than happy to assist you. I'm so sorry that you are experiencing this issue. My working hours vary & I usually reply between 09:00am & 6:00pm Monday to Sunday - (GMT-5).

Yes, this mouse is compatible with Windows 11. But it uses a 2.4GHz wireless connection (not Bluetooth), so you'll need to make sure the USB receiver is plugged in properly.

    1. Make sure the USB receiver is plugged firmly into a working USB port on your laptop. Try a different USB port if possible.
    2. Check that the batteries are charged and properly installed.
    3. There should be a Connect button on both the mouse and the receiver. Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the LED on the mouse flashes. This should reestablish the connection.
    4. Download the Mouse and Keyboard Center download to help you customize the way you work on your computer.
