I replaced a Lenovo Ideapad 3 with a new one that has Windows 11. It is extremely slow when using Citrix Workspace. Zoom does not work and teams does not work. I have tried everything. Please help!

I'm experiencing the very same slowness and periodic intermittent UI freezing on Citrix Workspace on Windows 11, as the other persons here having reported the same issue. Also, the CPU on my laptop feels to need to do some extra processing cycles on Windows 11 when logged on to Citrix Workspace. This does not occur on Windows 10.

Not sure if a Citrix Workspace issue on Windows 11, or something else - I'm running the latest Citrix Workspace application version on my Windows 11 laptop though (as on my another Windows 10 laptop).

    kind regards,

    Mika

UPDATE 2024-09-06: it turns out this issue has to do with the Intel Graphics Driver software. Updating the Intel graphics driver software as per the instructions by Intel solved the issue on my laptop - please read:

    Hi,

I'm experiencing the same since the update to Windows 11.

I initially though it was my ISP but already tried several others. Also already tried cleanup on Citrix Workspace and installed the latest version released 08Aug2024.

Still, there's latency when inside Citrix Workspace.

    Hello, MeredithFC

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

Thank you for your feedback. I have read the information you provided. You mentioned that your computer is slow when running Citrix Workspace.

I noticed that you have tried a few things but the problem persists, which is really frustrating.

I don't know what you have already tried, so please ignore the following if you have already tried them.

    1. Make sure your computer does not have power saving mode turned on or have power saving mode turned on in your computer management software instead of performance mode. These may reduce the cpu's working frequency and cause lag in software usage.
    2. Please close all other unimportant programs, they will all take up some system resources and cause slow speed when you need to use Citrix Workspace.
    3. Adjust the power plan
    4. Open “Control Panel” > “Hardware and Sound” > “Power Options”.
    5. Select the “High Performance” power plan.
    6. Click “Change Program Settings” > “Change Advanced Power Settings”.
    7. Make sure that Minimum Processor Status and Maximum Processor Status in Processor Power Management are both set to 100%.

I hope this information has been helpful. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards
