Disable equalizer option in the jbl app on your phone, then try to connect again with your laptop.
JBL headphones disconnecting and reconnecting again and again and again, why??
I am currently experiencing a problem with my JBL Tune 525 BT headphones where the audio disconnects before eventually reconnecting. It's like a cycle where;
- I watch a video and everything works perfectly.
- The video ends.
- I play another video but when it starts, there is no sound,
- Then the audio switches to my laptop instead of the headphones,
- And finally, I hear "connected" before the sound returns to my headphones after 20 seconds.
I have attempted to reset the headphones, however, the issue still persists. Interestingly, the headphones function perfectly with my phone. If anyone has encountered a similar issue and has found a solution, I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions because this is driving me crazy and i'm thinking of buying new headphones. Thank you.

I am happy to help you
Here's some solution you could try:
- Update Bluetooth Drivers
Ensure that your laptop’s Bluetooth drivers are up-to-date:
1. Open Device Manager: Press Win + X and select Device Manager. 2. Locate Bluetooth: Expand the Bluetooth section. 3. Update Driver: Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter (e.g., Intel Wireless Bluetooth) and select Update driver > Search automatically for updated driver software.- Check Power Management Settings
Windows might be turning off the Bluetooth adapter to save power:
1. Open Device Manager: Press Win + X and select Device Manager. 2. Locate Bluetooth: Expand the Bluetooth section. 3. Power Management Tab: Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter, select Properties, and go to the Power Management tab. 4. Uncheck: Uncheck the box that says “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.- Re-pair the Headphones
Sometimes, repairing the connection can solve connectivity issues:
1. Remove Device: Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Find your JBL headphones and select Remove device. 2. Restart Laptop: Restart your laptop. 3. Pair Again: Turn on your headphones and pair them with your laptop again.- Disable Bluetooth Device Services
Some Bluetooth services may interfere with the connection:
1. Open Device Manager: Press Win + X and select Device Manager. 2. Locate Bluetooth: Expand the Bluetooth section. 3. Properties: Right-click on your JBL headphones and select Properties. 4. Services Tab: Uncheck unnecessary services except for Audio Sink, Handsfree Telephony, and Remote Control.- Change Audio Output Device
Ensure that your JBL headphones are set as the default audio device:
1. Open Sound Settings: Right-click on the sound icon in the system tray and select Open Sound settings. 2. Output Device: Ensure that your JBL headphones are selected as the default output device.- Check for Interference
Ensure there are no sources of interference near your laptop or headphones:
1. Remove Other Devices: Turn off or move other Bluetooth devices away from the area. 2. Wi-Fi Channels: If you’re using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, try switching to a 5 GHz network to reduce interference.- Update Windows
Make sure your Windows operating system is up-to-date:
1. Open Settings: Press Win + I to open Settings. 2. Update & Security: Go to Update & Security and click on Check for updates.- Bluetooth Troubleshooter
Run the built-in Bluetooth troubleshooter:
1. Open Settings: Press Win + I to open Settings. 2. Update & Security: Go to Update & Security. 3. Troubleshoot: Click on Troubleshoot, then Additional troubleshooters. 4. Bluetooth: Find and run the Bluetooth troubleshooter.- Test with Another Device
Since the headphones work well with your phone, test them with another laptop or computer to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the issue is with the headphones or your laptop.
