That's hilarious! First, how do I recognize a keyboard backlight key? What is the symbol for that? More humorously, what computer manufacturer provides a manual? I really want to know as I have never seen one! Trying to get information from a manufacturer on how to use their product is torture. It's coded in gibberish, if you can find it. Microsoft has ZERO returns in Help for keyboard lighting or backlighting, even though the computer has it. But a manual? In my dreams!

If the lighting is not bound with any F1-12 keys, check if it is bound to the spacebar. If so, pressing Fn + spacebar will turn it back on.
