Help, I've been dealing with this for like 3 days already, but ever since my laptop updated, the wifi button disappeared. I have already tried things that I've seen on the internet, (like this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/wi-fi-option-not-showing-in-windows-11/d28ec675-3431-4a97-92c3-7b2fcd3238be?correlationid=5231ef6b-71fd-42c6-bb1c-3eccebed636d&from=ContactUsWebBCQR and this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/wifi-option-disappeared/628e3e3c-48f9-4b5c-9117-2fc1c9d6a588 ) but it still is missing.

I have already tried downloading the drives that was there on the manufacturers's site, enabling and disabling the driver then restarting, installing then uninstalling the driver, but when I restart it, the said driver was still there and it has this "⚠️" sign on its icon.

    Hi Alexander,

My apologies, I meant the Driver tab, if you clicked on the Driver tab is the Rollback option available to you?

Please let me know how you go

    Good day!

I have tried your second suggestion multiple times already before, but I still did and yeah- it still didn't work.

I don't really get what you mean by "rollback", but I opened the advanced tab on the driver and this is what I saw.

    Hi Alexander,

The yellow exclamation mark on your wifi driver is the problem.

Please click on the advanced tab from your second screenshot and see if you can rollback. Then check if your wifi now appears.

If the step above doesn't fix it, you'll have to right click on your wifi adapter and uninstall it. Restart your computer and check back to see if has reinstalled it properly that the yellow exclamation mark has gone.

Let me know how it goes please.

    Cheers,

    Mote

Hello mote!! This is what the network adapters look like.

Unfortunately, I don't really get what you meant by the network adapter status but I'm assuming this?

I also did the ncpa.cpl thingy, but the driver wasn't there.

Hello! I'm Mote, and will assist you today.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue.

If possible could you please take a screenshot of what the drivers look like from device manager and also the Network Adapter status?

Even with the screenshots could you please do the below?

    1. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run box
    2. Type ncpa.cpland press Enter to open Network Connections
    3. Please find the wifi adapter on this window
    4. Right click on the wifi adapter and Disable
    5. Right click again ont he wifi adapter and Enable

Check and confirm if that made a difference to the experience.

Please let me know how you go.

    Cheers,
