Touchpad only works with two finger clicks on in a certain desktop?

About yesterday I probably accidentally clicked some stuff in settings or something while trying to configure my drawing tablet to my computer, but then all of a sudden when I go to play Roblox, my touchpad now only responds to two finger click! This has never happened before and I'm getting increasingly frustrated with trying to fix it. Also, additional information I have a Windows 11 laptop, when I use Microsoft Edge, it responds with one click just fine and regularly without the need of using two fingers (also I can right click with two fingers just fine), but whenever I go onto Roblox, I can only click things using two fingers and it just frustrates me! Is there anyone out there who can help me? I'm not the most tech savvy with computers but I really need this fixed!

    Hello, pixelly 11

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Hello, thank you for your feedback on your issue here, it seems that you are experiencing an anomaly with the touchpad in playing roblox.

First of all, thank you for your feedback, it's really frustrating, let's fix this together.

Here are some steps that you can try and hopefully solve the problem:

    1. Check the touchpad settings:

Press Windows + I to open Settings.

Go to Bluetooth and Devices > Touchpad.

Make sure the touchpad is enabled and check the settings for gestures and clicks. Ensure that the setting for one-finger click is enabled.

    1. Reset the touchpad settings:

In the same Touchpad Settings menu, look for the option to reset the touchpad settings to default. This usually fixes unexpected behavior.

    1. Update or reinstall the touchpad driver:

Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.

Expand the Mouse and Other Pointer Devices section.

Right-click on your touchpad device and select Update Driver. Follow the prompts to search for updated drivers.

If the update doesn't help, you can try uninstalling the driver and restarting your laptop.Windows should automatically reinstall the correct driver.

    1. Check Roblox settings:

Sometimes specific applications may have their own settings that affect the input device. Open Roblox and check if there are any input or touchpad related settings that need to be adjusted.

    1. Check for conflicting software:

Since you mentioned configuring the drawing board, it is possible that the drawing board software is interfering with the touchpad. Try disconnecting the board and see if the touchpad behavior returns to normal.

    1. Run the Windows Troubleshooting program:

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshooting > Other Troubleshooting.

Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooting program to see if it detects and fixes any problems.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to check with the roblox community or game support for advice, thank you for your patience and cooperation!

    Best regards

Thank you so much for these answers, while most of them didn't work, it turns out my cursor was in selection mode the whole time (which I had to get from another forum question haha), but I appreciate you helping me out to get to this conclusion! Thank you so much!!
