I can hear others in the group call but they cannot hear me

Hello, sorry to hear about your situation, it seems that you have no sound from the microphone as well as the speakers when using WhatsApp.

Before I provide you with some advice, can I ask if this is only happening when you are on WhatsApp and is it normal in other apps. You can give me feedback.

If you have this problem only in WhatsApp, you can first open the search bar and search for Audio Troubleshooting and run it to check for any anomalies.

Try uninstalling WhatsApp and reinstalling it.

Next, press Win+i to open the Settings app and click on Privacy and Security. Find Microphone under the App permissions section and turn it on.

Make sure the toggle next to Microphone access is turned on. You can switch it on by toggling it on, in addition to giving apps access to your microphone is also turned on and scroll down to find the WhatsApp app and see if it's on or off. If it is off, switch it on.

i am facing similar problem while using Whatsapp in Google Chrome. Mic is on and permission is allowed in chrome but there is no audio recorded.
