intel turbo boost not working

i dont know what i did but my computer just stopped doing the turbo boost thing. its now capped at 2.42 ghz and wouldnt go any higher than that. it may be because of a power plan thing idk.

    Fantasy.

    My turbo boost did not work in maximum power setting performance mode.

    I switched to balanced and everything worked.

    I make some more research, and found out that the problem was in setting the power supply for the processor.

    Have it at 99%, if change it to 100% the turbo boost starts to turn on.

    Spend 6 hours for investigate before found your post.

    If your BIOS is locked with a password, then you will need to contact Support for your PC model, they will be able to provide you with a method to bypass that password, the method to do that varies from motherboard to motherboard.

    Go into the Power Options in the old Control Panel, and ensure your power plan is set to Balanced.

    If that does not solve the problem, boot your PC into BIOS, sometimes there is a setting in there that needs to be enabled to allow TurboBoost on your processor.
