Under Personalization, neither of these icons appears as an icon that can be turned on/off. Please help, they serve no function for me in the way I choose to use Win11. Thanks

Please do me the courtesy of rereading my question. You have failed to note that the icon toggle does not appear in my case.. Thus I cannot do what you suggest.

    Hello Stephen Cloughley,

The mic icon really bugs me too, and I haven't found any way to remove it, unfortunately.

However, I found that by changing the icon colour to a dark grey, it's much less noticeable and therefore bugs me a lot less! :)

    See this example:

Go to Settings > Personalisation > Colours and then choose a colour that works for you:

    Hope this helps a bit.

    Hi,

I am Tanvi, and I would be happy to assist you today!

    Please follow these steps-

    1. Right-click on an empty area of your taskbar.
    2. Select "Taskbar settings."
    3. In the "Taskbar items" section, locate the "Microphone" and "Notification" icons.
    4. If you see a toggle switch next to them, simply turn them off to remove them from the taskbar.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other queries.

    Good day
