Tanvi, what have you done. Tanvi, you said you were happy to help, that our problems could be solved by pressing two keys. Lies. You feed me lies and hope all wrapped up into a scam. I didn't know this life could be this bleak and dull, numb just like my mouse pad. My mouse pad stopped working 30 minutes ago and believe me I have tried, I follow your rules, I played your silly games but no more! Every breathe I take now is lifeless, just like my mouse pad, every key I pressed is tortured, now I have but nothing to do except live in this hopeless life. Tanvi, why, I believed you I truly did, you have led me into thinking I could use my mouse pad again. But you have lied, how could you do this to me. Now all I have left is touch screen, but how could that ever compare to my desire to press a mouse pad ever again. Wait nevermind I can play tetris without a mouse pad.
Touchpad Issue Windows 11
I've trouble with using the touchpad. I've tried restarting and shutting down multiple times. The mousepad works sometimes and after once or twice it disappers and dosent work at all. Its really getting annoying to not use the mousepad properly since now ive to use the bluetooth mouse.
I've tried fixing through the device manager and updating drivers, sadly nothing worked

2024-07-11T17:18:13+00:00 Hi Kalyani,
I am Tanvi and I would be happy to assist you today!
Many laptops have a function key combination to enable/disable the touchpad.
Look for a key with a touchpad icon, often paired with an Fn key (e.g., Fn + F9 or Fn + Fn lock key). Press this combination and see if the touchpad comes back to life.
Touchpad Settings: Windows 11 offers some touchpad settings you can explore
1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad. 2. Ensure "Touchpad" is toggled "On". You can also adjust settings like scrolling speed and tap gestures here.Even though you updated the driver, try completely reinstalling it.
- Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start Menu).
- Expand "Mice and other pointing devices" and right-click on your touchpad driver.
- Select "Uninstall device" and check the box to "Delete the driver software for this device" (if available).
- Restart your computer. Windows will automatically reinstall the driver on startup.
Try connecting an external USB mouse to see if the issue persists.
This can help isolate the problem to the touchpad itself.

2024-09-29T20:16:14+00:00 My touchpad on my Dell inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1 stopped working today. I have tried many things but when I go to settings-bluetooth-touchpad there is no option to turn it off and on as I see in videos. None of the keys have a touchpad icon and nothing happens when I press fn and the keys. When I tried option number 2 it turned off my touch screen also which made it worse.
