Method 1: Open MyHP and click on the video control (Optimize Conferencing and Streaming). This will redirect you to the Microsoft Store to install the required application. Once installed, simply uninstall it. After it is uninstalled, you will notice that the HP Enhanced Camera has also been removed.

Method 2: Open Settings and search for Camera Privacy Settings. Then, turn off MyHP's access to the camera, as MyHP provides the function for the HP Enhanced Camera.

I hope this works! Thank you!

    Hi ,

You must have the MyHP program, look for the Video Control option and there you can disable the Enhaced Camera.

    Hope this helps.

You are using a third party tool which is unlikely to function correctly on a branded Laptop

I hope you are not also using any 'speed up my pc' type of apps.

Your HP has only the singal camera

Win11 by default only installs critical security updates, unless you made the mistake of selecting “Get latest updates” which includes drivers.

See your laptop/PC makers support to update both bios and ALL drivers.

There should be a shortcut to that makers update utility on your system.

Then set Bios to defaults & Pwr to balanced. At the end of the day shutdown, do not leave in sleep.

Do NOT update from any other source inc Device Manager

    Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

Did you check if only one camera or two appear in the settings tab?

    Open Settings on Windows 11.

    Click on Bluetooth & devices.

    Click the Cameras tab.

Under the “Connected cameras” section, select the camera.

    Windows 11 Camera settings

    Click the Disable button.

    Disable webcam on Windows 11

    Click the Yes button.
