    Hello Piyush_Modi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

Have you successfully recovered your Microsoft account? Can you sign in to your Microsoft account online without any issues?

If you can sign in to your account online but are encountering a "Something went wrong, please try again" error on your Windows PC, you can try booting your device in the recovery environment to repair Windows.

    1. On the Windows sign-in screen, press and hold the Shift key while you select Power > Restart.

    1. Upon reboot, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Select System Restore.

If this option is not available for you, try the Startup Repair method or Boot your PC in safe mode.

If all the above method fails, you can try resetting your PC.

On the Recovery environment screen, select Reset this PC >

Keep my files (if you want to keep your files) OR

Remove everything - (to completely wipe your computer and start from fresh).

Select either any one of the options and select Local re-installation.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N

    Piyush_Modi,

Yes, I have provided the steps for Windows 11 only. If the Shift + Power > Restart key does not boot to the recovery environment page, try the following steps.

    1. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    2. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    3. On the first sign that Windows has started (for example, some devices show the manufacturer’s logo when restarting) hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    4. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    5. When Windows restarts, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    6. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    7. Allow your device to restart into Automatic Repair, and select Advanced options to enter winRE.

On the recovery environment screen, select Advanced options > Troubleshoot > Reset this PC > Keep my files > Local Re-install.

This method will re-install the operating system without affecting your Personal files.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
