Hi,
Firstly, Update Video Drivers-
- Open
Device Manager→ Expand "Display adapters" → Right-click your GPU and select "Update driver." - Also, ensure your system's chipset and audio drivers are updated from the manufacturer’s website.
Please make sure that all your browsers are up to date. If the issue persists in one specific browser, resetting its default settings might help. In Chrome or Edge, type chrome://settings/reset or edge://settings/reset in the address bar and select "Restore settings to their original defaults."
In both Chrome and Edge, hardware acceleration can cause issues with video playback.
- Chrome: Go to
Settings→System→ Toggle off "Use hardware acceleration when available." - Edge: Go to
Settings→System and Performance→ Toggle off "Use hardware acceleration when available."
Also, Some videos may require specific codecs that might have been removed or corrupted after a Windows update.
Go to the Microsoft Store and search for "HEVC Video Extensions" or other relevant codec packages and install them.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other queries.
Have a good day
