That phone number is bogus. They will not allow you to speak to a representative and your online help is garbage because they don't cover all the issues. That site cannot help me and I'm beyond frustrated and there is no request a call. All you get is automated telling you the email address and the website to get online help and there is nothing on there that even comes close to the issue that I'm having in your stupid drop-down menu. So great support that's all lies
What do I have to do to speak to an actual human?

In an attempt to remain cordial. Could someone please point me in the direction of an actual working support number, that will have an actual human on the other end. I need to be able to speak to someone for the help I need because it’s a complicated issue I don’t exactly know how to explain, and poorly constructed drop down windows unfortunately have not helped aid in my quest for a solution in any way, shape, or form, for the past two hours…. And that’s just the time I’ve spent trying to find out how to actually speak to someone for help…. So can I please get some assistance in this department so I can fix this computer, and continue my work.

2024-07-05T21:43:37+00:00 This does not work because your system is not allowing me to sign into Contact - Support. I am signed in, I see all my account information, but if I select any "contact" option, I get an error message and no contact.

2024-10-16T03:32:35+00:00 I'm literally having the same exact issue and everything I try fails. One step even said in order to get into my locked account, i needed to sign in. Really unbelievable. I don't understand why someone can't just help.

2024-07-07T15:31:54+00:00 I need to get somebodies help in getting my wife's hotmail account restored. At least help walk thru it. She got some email she thought was from microsoft that she needed to reset her password. She has been locked out since on june 20th. Even going thru all the steps. She finally broke down and told me what happen yesterday. I tried, got and answer via email needed more examples, went to try to do that and got locked out myself on too many tries. We can't use the phone code since we set up our email accounts 20 years ago it was linked to a landline. One of the security questions is her mothers birth place, but how is she to remember what exactly she typed in and spelling capitalization after 20years. Apparently microsoft is incapable of sending a voice code like our bank does. Wife went so far to pay somebody for help (which was stupid) and they just did the same thing and took her money. Should note we are 72, I spent this morning trying to figure getting a text code divert to my cell or computer and that appears to be impossible unless you want to set up a business.
Troubleshooting says blocked because of multiple password resets. how the ___ to unblock so we can start the process. Why won't somebody who actually works for microsoft help. I could easily answer more than a dozen ?? to satisfy security since she also paid for a outlook account on her pc, but who knows what that password is.
