Unable to remove ghost application from add/remove program section

Last year, a coworker downloaded and installed Chrome Remote Desktop on their browser. We were informed that this application is not approved and must be removed from the device. I was able to uninstall the extension from Chrome and any associated files from the C drive. Unfortunately, there seems to be an associated chrome remote desktop that shows in the add remove programs list. I tried to uninstall it from there as well as the legacy version but it will not go away. I have checked all of the Registry Keys and there is nothing regarding Google Chrome Remote Desktop. I have tried to uninstall via Safe Mode and that did not work. I have tried via Powershell and nothing. I have tried via msconfig to disable all non Microsoft products, rebooted and still unable to remove it. When I see the entry in add remove programs, it has no file size. I even tried reinstalling CRD via Chrome, which created a separate entry. I was able to remove that one with no problems. Any help would be more than appreciated.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If that entry is stuck in the Installed Apps section of the Settings App, open the old Control Penal then set View at the top to large icons, open the Programs and Features applet, and try to uninstall that from there, it should report the software no longer exists and offer you the option to remove it from the list.

Thank you for the screenshot, I understand you previously searched the registry, but that must be located in the Registry, that is where Windows builds that list from.

    Open the Registry Editor.

In the left pane, scroll to the very top of the tree and select Computer.

    Select Edit - Find

Perform a search for: Chrome Remote

For any entry found with that exact text, right click and delete it.

Press F3 to continue the search

Repeated those two steps until you reach the end of the registry.

Then restart your PC to apply the change.

Please provide a screenshot of the listing of that app in the Settings app - Apps - Installed apps.

Here you go. Its the Chrome Remote icon on the far right.

I tried that yesterday and no response or option to remove from the list. Any other suggestions you can think of?

    Thank you in advance.
