I have about 37 apps that have been stuck on "pending for about 2 weeks now. They have never moved. I tried almost every way how to troubleshoot it and nothing worked. Also I can't download any new apps, they just say "download pending" or tries to download and then gets stuck forever

Things I tried:

• Clearing Microsoft store cache with command prompt

• resetting Microsoft store through settings

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Microsoft Store

It's very frustrating when someone wastes the user's time by copying and pasting the same generic solutions that anyone can obtain from the very first Google result: "Run the troubleshooter, update the app, restart your PC, reinstall the app and if all else fails then sent an email to tech support."

Hello there, I am not sure if you have find the solution or not, but I also got the same problem here.

Tried all the solutions that are available, but to no avail.
BUT, suddenly I accidentally fixed it, here is how I did.

    1. Try every solution that others provide such as reset store, etc
    2. This one is the one I accidentally stumbled, Go to your Microsoft Store Profile and Settings, Turn off the "App Updates", I also turned off Video Autoplay, so you probably should try turning off the app updates first, if it didn't work, you can also try to turn off the video autoplay.

I hope with the method above, your problems also got fixed!

    Hi Peter,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

If you have tried below, let me know. Otherwise try it.

The following command would Reset and Reinstall Microsoft Store on your computer:

Press the Windows+R keys on the keyboard, or Right-click Start on the Taskbar and choose Run.

Type "WSRESET - i" without quotes.

    Press Enter.

Wait for the process to complete.
