I recently switched my chrome operating system to windows as Chromebook is garbage. After encountering many issues with switching i was able to fix it with the right drivers except for volume control. My volume control says I do not have any drivers and I've tried everything, but nothing has worked.

    Hello, this is Emily.

Can you please type msinfo32.exe in the search on the taskbar and hit enter, then share a screenshot of the pop up please.

Ah, so I totally misunderstood you. Thought you went from a Chromebook to a Windows PC. But you actually meant installing Windows on a Chromebook.

Drivers are from manufacturer, not from Windows or Microsoft. If Google never published their device's audio driver to Windows update, you will not get the right driver from Windows.

Chromebook doesn't officially support Windows and it is known to be difficult, due to lack of Microsoft certified drivers. You might be able to find third-party solution for this, but I am afraid you will have to try that in Google's community forum.
