Please run the SFCFix package as follows.

Note: SFCFix is a third-party tool written by a Microsoft MVP to fix the component store.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro of Sysnative forums) and save this to your Desktop.

https://www.sysnative.com/forums/downloads/sfcfix/

  1. Download the file, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.

  1. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it. [See illustration image: https://imgur.com/a/7i4Y8g8]
  2. When you see the prompt "Will you allow SFCFix to communicate with Sysnative servers?", type "n" for no. Press Enter to continue.
  3. SFCFix will now process the script. It will take some time to complete. Upload the output file SFCFix.txt to your OneDrive.

Restart Windows and see if you can now update Windows or run SFC /Scannow.

Looks like the Windows Modules Installer or the servicing components are corrupt.

Please run my SSUDiag VBScript and upload the output file %temp%\ssudiag.txt.

    https://gist.githubusercontent.com/winhelponlin...

    • *Right-click and choose "Save link as" in your browser.* Save it as "ssudiag.vbs" (instead of "SSUDiag.vbs.txt").
