Place 'File Explorer' Shortcut On Desktop in Windows 11

This used to be a 2-click move.

How do I simply place Win 11 'File Explorer' on my Desktop?

    Hello,

    • Right-click on your desktop, and select New > Shortcut.

    • Type C:\Windows\explorer.exe in the location of the item field.

    • Click Next.

    • Type the name Explorer and click finish.

    Hello. WIN+R C:\Windows ENTER . Then right-click explorer.exe choose show more options then choose send to desktop.
